i have a new olympus stylus 820 and i just have NO clue how to put my videos onto my Mac

Connect the camera to the Mac with the supplied USB cable. If iPhoto doesn't automatically launch, go to Applicaions and launch iPhoto. If iPhoto detects the camera it should ask if you want to import videos/photos. Import them and then from iPhotos Library double click on a video file and Quicktime should automatically launch and play them.

I found out after the fact that the person i'm buying it for used to have the stylus 1000 bfore they lost it, but i bought them the stylus 820. Will they like the 820 after having the 1000?

If you need 'waterproof" then the 820 is the camera for you.

The 1000 has a larger sensor and has a higher pixel count, so should produce higher resolution images when set up properly.

i found out that most of the pictures it takes are very grainy and soft focused i'm not happy at all with this purchase, i called customer service for olympus and they said that there may be something wrong with the camera, but by reading reviews it seems that that's just one of it's flaws. now should i send it in to get serviced or should i exchange it before the 30 days that the store gives me for a different camera?

If you are unhappy with it, it's probably best to return it because the thought will be in your mind every time you look at or pick up the camera from here on out. It'll be even worse on the 31st day when turning back isn't an option. Canon and Sony pretty much have the lead in the current point and shoot market so take a look.

and there is a file on there that is called
"My Favorites" and i put one of my pictures in there and i dnt kno how to get them in my computer...like they dont show up on there .???

Epson Stylus Photo 820 printing wrong shades?

when i try to print a picture with shades, it prints a greenish color. I did head cleaning and nozzle check like 10 times and it still does that. can someone help? or do i just need to get a new printer?

Sounds like you've checked everything mechanical out rather well on the printer. You could remove and reseat the Printer cable and see if that helps. The next possibilities will be with the Driver and then the Color Palette being used with the software. In fact the following link has a lot of good details that might be reviewed to include Driver.

okay so my camera has the panoramic setting available, but i cant access or work it. the type of xd card i have is fujifilm, so is that the reason why i cant work the panoramic function. do i have to have an olympus xd card instead.

This ability is called "LightScribe". If your printer's documentation says that, it can; otherwise, not. I looked briefly at Epson's page and didn't see any reference to LightScribe for the 820.
