90% of the people think that many MP means a better camera. The people choose the camera wich has maximum MP. :-)
I have douts the pics made at 12 Mp with the Samsung mobile are usable on large prints. Probably you have to resize the pic at 3 Mp to minimize the noise impact and the chromatic deviations. I think the people who want to make larger prints should choose a better camera than a telephone. :-)
Coming back to SP-590. I find very interesting the 26x zoom. I am sure Olympus made good lens. It is an alternative for those wich are thinking to buy a new camera. If I would not have my SP-550, i would go for 590.
But now I have 550 and I do not find reasons enough to upgrade to 590.
I am waiting anyway with big interest for the first reviews and photos for 590.
