זה נשמע כמו חילול הקודש, אבל מסכי מגע הם מגיפה. כשמשתמשי המחשבים הניידים לא הביעו אמון, יצרניות הגאדג'טים החלו לשלב את הטכנולוגיה בכל הבא ליד: סלולריים, נגנים, מצלמות ואפילו טלפונים אלחוטיים. נדמה שאין יצרן שלא לוקח דגם ישן, מדביק לו מסך מגע טורדני ומשווק אותו כהמצאת השנה.

 

מי שאחראית למהפכה, שאינה הולמת את תנאי מזג האוויר, הרגלי התזונה ומבנה כף היד של הישראלי המצוי, היא אפל. בקיץ 2007 השיקה את האייפון ושינתה את חיינו: מעתה חובה ללטף את הטלפון. ובפומבי.

 

ייתכן שבהשוואה לאמצעי השליטה הישנים מדובר בשדרוג ניכר של יחסינו עם מכשירי אלקטרוניקה, אבל היישום בעייתי: המסכים רגישים לכל תנועה, אטיים ולא מדויקים דיים, מזוהמים תמיד בטביעות אצבע, דורשים למידה של מידת הלחץ הנדרשת, קשים לתפעול בשמש וגורמים תקלות כמו ניתוק שיחה במגע עם האוזן. אם אתם בכל זאת נהנים לסבול, הנה כמה מוצרים בולטים.

סמסונג אומניה . שחקן מצויד לעייפה: מסך מגע בגודל 3.2 אינץ', מעבד 624 מגה הרץ, 8 גיגה־בייט זיכרון, מצלמת 5 מגה־פיקסל, חיבורי בלוטות', USB ו־Wi-Fi, רדיו, נגן ועוד מיני פיצ'רים מבית Windows Mobile 6.1. ככל סדרת מכשירי המגע של סמסונג, גם כאן נמצא ממשק TouchWiz, שמקל על החיים (מ־3,489 שקל ברשת, 3,564 שקל בסלקום, 3,956 שקל בפלאפון, 4,644 שקל באורנג').

אייפוד Touch . חלוץ נגני המגע מגיע בשלושה דגמים: 8, 16 או 32 גיגה־בייט, המצוידים במסך מגע 3.5 אינץ', חיבור USB ו־Wi-Fi. לבד מתמיכה בווידיאו ואודיו, אפל מציעה הורדת משחקים ותוכנות (מ־1,144 שקל לנגנים מדור קודם).

 

IAudio/Cowon S9 . המחליף של O2 Touch מגיע בנפח 32 גיגה־בייט, תומך באודיו, וידיאו, תמונות וטקסט, מצויד ברדיו, רשמקול וחיבור בלוטות', ומסך המגע שלו (3.3 אינץ') נתמך בארבעה לחצנים (1,399 שקל בבאג). לחובבי המגע החברה מציעה גם את D2 ו־Q5.

 

Archos . החברה מציעה שתי סדרות של נגני מדיה מבוססי מגע: סדרה 5 ו־7, המצוידים בדיסקים מכובדים (60–320 גיגה־בייט), חיבור USB ו־Wi-Fi ומסכי מגע גדולים במיוחד, של 5 או 7 אינץ', בהתאמה (מ־2,089 שקל ברשת).

 

מצלמות

 

במצלמות הדיגיטליות כמעט אין שימוש בטכנולוגיות המגע, והן שומרות אמונים לחוגת הכפתורים המוכרת. אם תרצו לדפדף בין תצלומים בהחלקת אצבע יש כמה אפשרויות:

קודאק EasyShare v1273 . מצלמה עם מסך מגע בגודל 3 אינץ', שמציעה רזולוציה של 12 מגה־פיקסל, זום אופטי X3, זיכרון פנימי של 32 מגה־בייט, צילום וידיאו ב־HD ומגוון מצבי צילום אוטומטיים (מ־1,095 שקל ברשת).

 

פנסוניק LUMIX DMC-FX550 . מצלמת 12.1 מגה־פיקסל בתפעול היברידי: כפתורי שליטה בשילוב מסך מגע 3 אינץ', המאפשר להגדיר משתנים בעת הצילום וניהול התמונות. מצוידת בזום אופטי X5, צילום וידיאו ב־HD ו־50 מגה־בייט לאחסון פנימי (מ־1,542 שקל ברשת).

 

ניקון CoolPix S60 . מצלמה קומפקטית הכוללת מסך מגע 3.5 אינץ' שאליו מצורף סטיילוס לשליטה נוחה בזמן הצילום והטיפול בתמונות. כוללת חיישן ברזולוציה של 10 מגה־פיקסל וזום אופטי X5 (מ־1,265 שקל ברשת).

Every time after i charge the battery, when i put it back inside the camera and turn it on, i have to reset the time and date and timezone, and its really annoying.
How do i make it so that i dont have to reset it every time?

There is a small independent battery or capacitor that is supposed to hold that information in the camera while you charge the battery. It should last for at least 24 hours, more than enough time to charge any battery, NiMH or Li-ion.

Of course.you can. Just connect the Coolpix to your computer and turn it on. If you have a recent Mac or PC running XP or Vista the computer will "see" your camera as a removable drive. Then you just have to use your computer skills to drag and drop all your image files to your computer in a file folder you have named something that will remind you what images are in it.

Your camera requires the MH-62 charger. There is no other way to charge the battery. There are lots of places you can purchase this. Okay, they will NOT charge you $150.00 just to look at the camera, I don't know where he is getting that. The only places that may charge you to look at the camera would be an authorized repair center for Nikon cameras and even then, I doubt that they will charge you that much to look at and give you an estimate for repair.

What you may wish to do is go directly through Nikon USA. I think they may only charge you around $20.00 to look at the camera and give you an estimate. Or, if you want to call them directly and tell them what happened, they may be able to give you a quote over the phone. Their toll free number is (800) 645-6678. I hope that helps!

and i checked the website and forums and the user guide. my computer doesn't even recognize it! AHHHHH. so darn frustrating! it does everything else fine exept upload precious pictures :[[[

Well you may have seen this complaint with all the different cameras made by all the camera companies.

Do that the pros do. Buy a card reader (under $15) and copy your image files from your memory card to you computer keeping the camera out of the loop. Two major complaints are that the "software" that people depend upon to do the work for them of moving images from the camera to the computer, doesn't work all that well and that when moving the image files from the camera (memory card) to the computer the batteries die mid transfer.
