Does anyone know if they make car chargers for a nikon coolpix s50 digital camera? 10 points for help?

I am going on vacation in about a week and wont be near any outlets to charge my camera, so I am just wondering if they have car adapters for my camera.

This camera used the supplied MH62 battery charger to recharge its Li-Ion battery. There is no car charger from Nikon for this battery.

You can try a 12V DC-to-110V AC Car Power Inverter. You plug this in the 12 V "lighter socket" of your car. The inverter provides 110 V AC. SO you can plug the MH62 Nikon battery charger into the inverter. You do not need a powerful inverter. 10 W to 20 W is enough. Some people put an inverter in the car so the kids can play their game console. Have a good trip.

I broke the screeen on my new nikon coolpix S50 camera. Is that fixable and would it be expensive?

Yes, it can be repaired (call Nikon 24/7 at 1 800 645 6689 for a RMA number) and yes, I guarantee it will be expensive!

What is the difference between the Nikon Coolpix S7c and a Nikon Coolpix S50?

I want to buy a camera, and i don't know the difference these two cameras have.

The S7c has WiFi capability as does the S50c

The S50 series cameras also have image stabilization

I would consider buying the S50c

Can i use my nikon coolpix s50 as a webcam?

i have the cd that says "picture project" came with it but I don't know if it will work. Or is there a way to see yourself on the computer while your taking apicture? ;p thankss

No. It is a "still" camera.

I think i wanna get that camera. bur idk if it's worth it. i read all the reviwes and apparently it has terrible picture quality on the LCD but once you upload the pictures, they come out amazing. is this true? hould i get the camera? (im like 14, so i dont really need an amzing amazing camera,)

does the Nikon coolpix s50 [limited brown edition] really have a plastic cover?

i was looking at reviews from the coolpix s50 [limited brown edition] and i noticed that one of the people posted that the brown cover was plastic! i wasn't so sure of that, so i'm going to make sure.

omg. so i bought this camera that i absolutely love from the dell website. it's a nikon coolpix s50 and now it has a crack in the LCD screen. so i went to the nikon website and it told me to send it to a certain address and to fill out this form and send it with your product, but i clicked on the link and it said that the website was under maintenance and to try again later. how the hell am i supposed to fix my camera if it's whole website is under maintenance??? any help?? oh and does anyone know how much it might cost?

try the above link- it seems to be working. It is a rare repair that doesn't cost at least $100 in my experience, but repair centers provide estimates before doing work, if the camera is not covered by warranty any more.

Installation for a Nikon Coolpix S50 help!?

I'm looking for the installation for the Nikon Coolpix S50 camera. I don't have the CD. Can anyone help out? I don't feel like searching the net forever and not really even know what I'm looking for exactly.

Someone broke a different camera that I had and offered to give me this one... the only thing he didnt have was the CD.


I plugged it in and went to My Computer and when I clicked to "get pictures from camera" (or something like that) it said that the device was in use and to try again later.... but I was unable to open that same thing while having the camera turned off... that's where I got a little confused and figured I needed something downloaded.

You can copy the images from your Nikon without needing the CD that is missing (what happened to it?). However when you register your camera, mention you did not get the CD with it.

Just open the camera as a removable drive using your file manager (Mac or Windows) and then drag and drop all the images to your computer.

Or you can use the card reader on your computer or buy a USB card reader.
