Kodak EasyShare C513 Offers a Range of Good Features Tech Reviews
The Kodak EasyShare C513 comes equipped with a Kodak-branded 3x optical zoom lens that has a standard focal range equivalent to 36 – 108mm. Also, there is a 2.4-inch LCD display which is able to supports 115,000 pixels. Actually, the model does not have an optical viewfinder. The taken images can be stored on MultiMedia / Secure Digital, or you can take advantage of internal memory that provides 10MB.
The Kodak C513 includes capture modes such as Auto, Video, Close-up, Favorites, Digital IS, as well as SCN. Also you are able to take advantage of 13 scene modes with the help of which one can achieve the results that you are looking for. Among scene modes one can find night portrait, portrait, sports, landscape, backlight, text/document, beach, children, museum/manner, self-portrait, sunset and flower. The C513 spots exposures that are available with a center spot TTL metering system, and also provides exposure compensation of 2.0EV. You are also offered 5 white balance settings. Unfortunately, ISO sensitivity is rather limited, it ranges from 80 to 160 when using Auto mode, as for Digital IS mode. It uses up to ISO 200.
There is also a movie mode, which is able to capture VGA clips with the resolution of 640×480 pixels and at 15 fps, and also QVGA clips at 24 fps. Both are available with audio.
If you want to transfer capture movies as well as images, you can use a USB 2.0 Full Speed connection which is considered to be slower compared to the USB 2.0 High Speed connections that can be found on many cameras. The camera is powered with standard AA batteries that are available in lithium as well as alkaline.

Kodak Easyshare C513 can i upload pics without windows xp or higher?
i am planning on buying a kodak easyshare C513 digital camera. it says that it needs windows xp or higher. i only have windows 2000. does that mean i cant upload my photos to my computer? is there some other free software i can download online that will allow me to upload my photos? also does that mean i wont be able to charge my camera in the dock using the usb? please help! need to know how to do this using a windows 2000. thanks alot!
Yeah you can do it. I had Win 98 and a Kodak Easyshare. Forget the exact model.
If the software doesnt work dont sweat it. You dont really need it. Just go into "My Computer" folder and find your camera (after you plug it in and turn it on) and pull the jpegs onto your computer that way.
Chances are though that you will find that Kodaks software will work just fine on your computer.
Go for it.
To answer your question, I have an old Win 2000 and I can see my images fine. I just copy them to the computer using a card reader and that is that. I can edit (sort) them using Windows Explorer.
How many pictures does a Kodak EasyShare C513 hold?
I have a Kodak EasyShare C513 that I got a few months ago. I dont know how many pictures it can hold. I already have 248 and will be taking more tomorrow. Does anyone know how many pictures it holds? I dont want them to start automatically deleting!!!
a kodak c513 is a five megapixal camera. depending on the size of the memory card you have in the camera determines how many photos your camera can hold.
if you have a 1 gb SD memory card you can expect to hold roughly geeez 500 photos or more.
how do you upload videos from your C513 kodak easyshare digital camera to your computer? ?
i really badly need your help! i need to upload my videos! i need to upload my videos from my kodak easyshare C513 pink digital camera to my computer. please help me!
Here's the support page for your camera:

The answer you need is probably here.
If you use an SD card in your camera, you can use a card reader to directly mount the card as a removable drive. You will then be able to download the videos directly to your computer.
how long can the Kodak EasyShare C513 camera record for?

Is a Kodak Easyshare c513 a good present for my sister?
shes a responsible nine year old and loves to take pictures.
yes, just make sure to include a gift receipt.
I don't know where you're buying it from but as near as I can tell it's about $90 delivered.
I would consider the Nikon L11 as a preferable alternative:

How can I make my Kodak Easyshare C513 into a webcam?

Uploading pictures from my Kodak Easyshare C513 camera?
Okay, so when I plug my camera in, the Kodak Easyshare thing comes up & sometimes this thing comes up where I can actually upload them & sometimes it doesn't. I'm not too sure what to click to make the one thing come up so that I can upload, can someone please help me?
ok i have a kodak easyshare M753 so i think i can help
when you plug ur camera in let all the things open up just like u normally would, then close them all.
go to the start menu and slick, "my computer" or if you have vista it says computer.
a window will open up and at the bottom it should have ur camera unsder the removable devices.
double click that, then click the right folder, then the left, then the next left one, then it should show ur pics, after that just frag and drop ur pics into the my pictures folder
I have a Kodak easyshare c513 and the camera is not turning on i open the battery slot while it was on and it?
while it was on i opened the battery slot and the camera went off ...and now it want turn back on what needs to be done
Turn camera off......take batteries out.....put them back in correctly....replace the cover being sure you slide the cover properly over the positive and neg. symbols in order to make contact between batteries and lid.
Good luck!
This happened with my kodak Easy Share; I broke contact..
Is a Kodak Easyshare C513 good for taking pictures?
I'll tell you my opinion on Kodak's..
The absolute only reason why i got my Kodak easy share
was because it was red. I thought it was pretty and it also
matched my computer. It's not a C513.. It's an M883.
[so yours might be completely different than mine.]
So i spent 250 on a camera just because of the color,
but because it was a Kodak and it was 8 mega pixels
i thought it would take lovely pictures. I took it to France
with me and discovered that the picture quality was horrible, along with the battery life, and i didn't get any decent pictures. They turned out grainy. And it may just be because
i dont know how to work it, but regardless...
That camera was my first camera ever and it taught me to never buy a Kodak ever again. If i were you i would go with a Panasonic or Canon. That's just my opinion though. Good luck.
[After i bought the camera i did research to see if others liked it.. there was a mix of 'oh, the pictures are wonderful.. great quality' and 'god, i hate this camera'. So my guess is that some kodaks are good and some are bad.. its just the luck of the draw.]
edit; [lol]
Alright, so i saw the pictures that you took.. and if you used your Kodak for those.. then the camera is fine! I think it's good quality and if you like it then that's great. lol, forget everything i said about kodaks being bad.. i guess you got lucky and got one of the good ones. Also.. don't worry about your pictures, they aren't bad. you will get better.. just practice.
double edit; [last one i swear.]
so.. remember how i said some say it's bad..
PERFECT EXAMPLE;
the person below me .. haha.
